Three Impressed Stoneware Jugs, American, 19th century, an unusual one-gallon jug with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "UNFERMENTED / COMMUNION. WINE / A,HALE / CLAREMONT N.H," Northeastern U.S. origin; a small Albany-slip-glazed jug, stamped "A. STANDISH / TAUNTON, MASS.;" and a two-gallon jug with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "THOMAS M GREEN & BRO / IMPORTERS & DEALERS IN / WINES LIQUORS & GROCERIES / NO 86 W BALTIMORE ST," Baltimore, MD origin. Communion wine jug with a chip to exterior of rim and a minor nick to interior of rim. Standish jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Thomas M. Green jug in as-made condition with a salt drip to handle.
