Unusual Stoneware Tankard Pitcher, Inscribed "Swallow," Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1885, ovoid form with heavily-tooled midsection and tall collar with semi-squared rim, the surface covered in a reddish-brown Rockingham glaze, the front incised with the word, "SWALLOW." Rim chips. H 6 3/4".
