Fine Nearly Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1835, cylindrical form with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with an artistic draped foliate and floral motif. Strong color and condition. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor water glass staining.
