Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, probably Palatine, WV, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, decorated with four wavy stripes executed in vivid cobalt. Excellent color. Excellent condition with a minor nick to inner wax sealer rim. H 10".
