Stoneware Bellarmine Jug, probably Frechen, German, 16th or 17th century, highly-ovoid jug with pronounced, heavily-tooled spout, decorated with a relief design of a bearded man's face above a floral medallion. Surface dipped in iron slip and covered in a salt glaze. Very nice condition with some chipping around base. H 9".
