One-Quart Stoneware Pitcher with Profuse Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, ovoid pitcher with footed base, decorated on each side of the body with a three-blossomed tulip plant motif flanking two groups of swags at the center. Collar decorated with brushed flowers. Handle decorated with heavy dashes and highlights to the terminals. Restoration to spout. Restoration to right side of rim. Restoration to base. A small amount of restoration to underside. Two tiny nicks to underside at edge. A surface line on underside, continuing onto base on front, not visible on interior. H 7 3/8".
