One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK STONEWARE CO.", circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a bird perched on a leaf. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor fry to cobalt.
