Small-Sized Stoneware Clabber Bowl with Alkaline Glaze, SC origin, third quarter 19th century, vasiform vessel with footed base, flared rim, and applied handle, the surface covered in a light alkaline glaze. Exceptional size. Provenance: Found in South Carolina. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a shallow, in-the-firing rim chip, measuring 3/4". A H 5 3/4" ; D 6".
