Two Stoneware Face Jugs, Signed "Marie Rogers", Meansville, GA origin, late 20th century, both with brown-glazed surfaces and incised "Marie Rogers" signatures on underside; one in the form of a devil's head with applied teeth and cobalt-decorated eyes including glass runs, the sides of the jug incised, "Get Thee Up into the High Mountain" and "Shall Come Against Him Like a Whirlwind". the reverse incised "Shall Pursue him with Pestilence and blood"; the other of small size with black eyes and applied teeth. Excellent condition. H (of devil jug) 7 3/8".
