Small Glazed Redware Canning Jar, Galena, IL origin, squat-shaped jar with rounded shoulder and flared rim, the surface in a lead-and-manganese over an olive ground with light-orange spotting. Provenance: From a long-term private collection of Galena, IL redware consigned to this auction. A thin 2 3/4" crack from rim. A faint 2 1/4" line from rim. Two small rim chips. Additional light wear to rim. H 6 3/8".
