Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, attributed to Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, NY, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a large chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. Excellent condition with some light staining to surface and a shallow, 7/8" glazed-over chip to reverse end of left handle.
