Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, attributed to Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, NY, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. Excellent condition with a small chip to rim on reverse, a minor 5/8" line to rim on front, and some grease(?) staining to base and underside.
