Five-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Ft. Edward, NY origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a cluster of leaves, Excellent condition with several tiny chips to exterior of rim.
