Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with flared base, tooled body, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with two-stemmed clover plant design extending up the front. Spout flanked by swags. Handle terminals highlighted in cobalt. Very nice condition. A glazed-over chip to interior of rim near spout. A small in-the-firing lime ping to handle. A minor base nick.
