Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a double-stemmed clover motif. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals along with a curving line of cobalt underneath each handle. Minor wear to each handle. A 2 1/4" vertical faint to base on reverse. Areas of yellow paint to interior. Faint traces of yellow paint to exterior.
