One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA", circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a leafy stem bearing a stylized blossom composed of a series of graduated spots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. A 1 5/8" chip to side of rim. Otherwise excellent condition.
