Two Fort Edward, NY Stoneware Churns, circa 1875, a three-gallon churn with slip-trailed "tornado" design, stamped "FORT EDWARD STONE WARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y."; paired with a five-gallon churn with slip-trailed foliate decoration, stamped "HAXSTUN, OTTMAN & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.". Three-gallon churn with a 4" x 3" reglued wedge at rim on side of churn, two rim chips, a 4" hairline from rim on opposite side, and wear to inner rim for lid. Five-gallon churn with a long hairline around base area, a 2 1/4" rim chip, small chips to inner rim for lid, and some staining to base area.
