Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stamped "M. WOODRUFF / CORTLAND", New York State origin, circa 1867-1869, a one-gallon cylindrical jar with brushed and slip-trailed tulip motif, paired with a two-gallon crock with brushed and slip-trailed, double-stemmed floral design. Cobalt highlights to maker's marks. One-gallon jar with a 1 1/4" rim chip on reverse. Two-gallon jar with significant restoration to underside, base, and reverse, not affecting decoration.
