Two Pieces of Cortland, NY Stoneware, circa 1867-1869, a two-gallon crock with brushed and slip-trailed cobalt floral decoration, stamped "M. WOODRUFF / CORTLAND"; paired with a half-gallon jar with slip-trailed floral motif, inscribed "1/2". Signed crock with two rim chips. Unsigned jar with exfoliation to underside and interior base, a tiny flake to base on reverse, a thin crack extending from underside to shoulder on reverse, a chip to inner rim for lid, and minor nicks to inner rim.
