Eight Small-Sized Stoneware Articles, Northeastern U.S. and English origin, 19th century, an inkwell with impressed asterisk decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin; a second inkwell with iron-oxide wash and impressed asterisk decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin; a miniature ovoid jug with traces of gold paint, possibly Cornwall, NY; a conical inkwell, possibly Northeastern U.S. origin; three ink bottles, English origin; and a jar, English origin. Smaller inkwell with a faint line and several small chips, some of which are glazed over. Iron-oxide-decorated inkwell with two large flakes to underside, one of which includes a small hole. Ovoid jug with wear to paint and restored handle. Conical inkwell with heavy chipping. English stoneware in excellent condition. H (of tallest ink bottle) 4 5/8" ; Diameter (of smaller inkwell) 3".
