Two Glazed Redware Tobacco Jars with Coggled Decoration, attributed to Jacob Heart, Chambersburg, PA origin, circa 1840, including an unusual small-sized example, both of cylindrical form, featuring coggled decoration to shoulder and base. Each decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a heavy lead glaze. Smaller jar with wear to coggling and a rim chip. Larger jar in excellent condition with some very minor wear to shoulder. H (of smaller jar) 5".
