Redware Charger with Two-Color Slip Decoration, Berks County, PA origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with two groups of wavy lines flanking a series of straight lines, all executed in manganese and cream-colored slip. Cream-colored slip swags throughout. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a sixty-year private collection. Heavy rim chips. Wear to interior. Diameter 12 3/4".
