Redware Plate with Two-Color Slip Decoration, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1850-1880, the interior decorated with alternating wavy trails of yellow and green slip. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a sixty-year private collection. Spotted residue to interior. A thin sliver of the clay adhered to underside during the firing. Diameter 7 1/16".
