Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug with Rock Teeth, Signed "Lanier Meaders", Cleveland, Georgia origin, circa 1975, ovoid jug with hand-modeled and applied clay face, including kaolin eyes with black-glazed pupils, arched eyebrows, ears, an upswept nose with nostrils, and mouth with rock teeth. Surface covered in a mottled green alkaline glaze. Underside incised "Lanier Meaders". Mint condition. H 10".
