Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / SUCCESSOR TO / JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO, PA.", circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring desirable T.F. Reppert "SUCCESSOR TO" stenciling, stenciled geometric designs and tulips, freehand stripes to shoulder and base, and a stenciled "2" with flourishes at base. A tight Y-shaped line to underside, a in-the-firing chip to rim, and some fry or wear to cobalt.
