Eight-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to D.P. Shenfelder, Reading, PA, circa 1870, large-sized, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with two large tulips emanating from a central stem. Cobalt highlight to capacity mark. Very nice condition with a rim chip to exterior and interior of rim.
