Scarce Group of Three Galena, Illinois Flowerpots, second half 19th century, a hanging flowerpot with impressed leaf decoration; a hanging flowerpot with incised and coggled decoration, including a metal chain; and a flower with attached saucer and coggled floral decoration to body. Unusual forms and decorative treatments. Provenance: Acquired in the Galena, IL area decades ago. One hanging flowerpot in excellent condition. Other hanging flowerpot with loss to rim and two rim chips. Flowerpot with saucer with shallow base chips, two chips to top edge of saucer, a rim chip, and a tiny stone ping to rim. H (of flowerpot with saucer) 6 7/8".
