Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, large-sized, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated with four groups of tulips extending around the midsection. Collar and spout decorated with brushed swags. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Collar impressed "3". Exceptional size. A 9" diagonal line extending from base on right side of pitcher. Hairlines to handle. H 14".
