One-Gallon Stoneware Butter Crock with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with applied tab handles and squared rim, decorated on the front and reverse with a large brushed leaf. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with salt drips to one side, minor nicks to interior of rim, and some water glass staining to interior.
