Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jug, Stenciled "GLAZED" and "T.F. REPPERT. / SUCCESSOR TO / JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO. PA.," circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, featuring desirable T.F. Reppert "SUCCESSOR TO" stenciling underscored by the rare stenciled notation "GLAZED". Freehand cobalt stripe to shoulder and cobalt highlight to upper handle terminal. Excellent condition with a small spout chip.
