Glazed Redware Trivet, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, resting on three scored feet, the surface with relief decoration of grape clusters surrounding a central urn. Surface decorated with sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Typical high-point wear to top. A small chip and a few minor nicks to top edge. Diameter 8 1/4".
