Westerwald Stoneware Mug with Cobalt and Manganese Decoration, circa 1700, ovoid form with footed base, heavily-tooled collar, and scrolled handle, the surface decorated with applied foliate motifs, individually decorated with cobalt and manganese slip. Some shallow in-the-firing chipping to base Hairlines to collar. H 7".
