One-Gallon Glazed Redware Jar, Huntington, Long Island, NY or Norwalk, CT, circa 1840, cylindrical jar with footed base, tooled shoulder, and flared rim, decorated with large manganese daubs and covered in a clear lead glaze. Heavy chipping to rim. Base chips. Wear and a flake to underside. Wear to surface.
