Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, early 19th century, half-gallon ovoid jug with footed base, tooled shoulder, and narrow flaring spout, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze. Good dark-green coloration with orange spotting and interesting crawling to glaze. Two handle chips. Shallow chipping to base. Shallow flake to underside. H 8".
