One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with tooled collar, the front decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant design. Additional clover decoration at the spout. Provenance: Recently found in a Baltimore area home. 1 7/8" chip to bottom at edge, partially visible when viewed from the front. Two other smaller, shallow base chips. Small spout chip. In-the-firing contact mark to front.
