Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1870, ovoid jar with tall collar, tooled shoulder, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed floral spray surrounded by leaves and dotted trails. Glazed-over stone ping to front. Approximately 4 3/4" Y-shaped line to reverse. Staining to surface.
