Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "HAXSTUN & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, with semi-rounded rim, tooled shoulder, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a dotted leaf. Two long cracks from rim on front, handle chip, minor chip to interior of rim.
