Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with freehand stripes and vining, stenciled signature across the midsection, and a freehand "2" flanked by dashes at base. Traces of green paint to surface. Nicks to shoulder molding. Some tiny nicks to bottom edge of rim.
