Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled rim, decorated with a brushed leafy vine bearing tulip blossoms extending around the body of the pitcher. Brushed cobalt flowers or leaves around collar. Missing handle. Loss to spout. Additional chip to left side of spout. Faint surface lines at base. Base chips.
