Possibly Unique Stoneware Milkpan with Cobalt Heart Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1820, tapered pan with semi-squared rim, applied tab handles, and pouring spout, decorated on the front and reverse with a folky slip-trailed heart design, accented with numerous spots, along with leafy brushwork extending to the left and right. The only example of heart decoration we have seen on Baltimore stoneware. Excavated years ago in a Baltimore privy. Broken into pieces and reglued. H 4" ; Diameter 9 3/4".
