One-Gallon Stoneware Butter Crock, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, cylindrical crock with toled shoulder, squared rim, and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and back with brushed clovers underscored by a stripe. Numerous rim chips. Small chip to one handle. 3 1/2" crack from rim, which is difficult to see.
