One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, ovoid pitcher with tooled rim, decorated with a brushed hanging tulip design on the front and swags on each side. Additional swag decoration on the collar and flanking the spout. Missing handle, with later blue paint over handle terminals. Spout chip. Rim chips. A rim chip and a few shallow, in-the-firing contact marks to top of rim.
