One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, approximately three-quart to one-gallon cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and back with brushed cobalt leaves. Includes old wooden lid with stylized flower petal carving. A few minor chips to wooden lid. Crock with slightly sunken area on one side, a 7/8" chip on underside, and a minor rim nick.
