One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base, rounded rim molding, and tooling at base of collar, the front decorated with two large brushed cobalt tulips. Rim decorated with heavily brushed cobalt swags. Numerous sealed cracks throughout underside. Cracks extending from underside extending partway up body of pitcher. Additonal spidering hairline to front of pitcher.
