Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Large Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a large brushed cobalt leaf composed of numerous thick strokes. Small stone ping on reverse with 4 1/2" hairline extending from it. Shallow glazed-over base chip.
