Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a tulip plant design featuring a large blossom, two buds, and leaves. Some fry to cobalt. Scattered flaking to reverse and side. Two small chips to front of rim. A minor chip and some very light flaking to one handle.
