Rare E. & L.P. Norton, Bennington, VT Stoneware Price List, Dated March, 1865, including a printed image of the pottery in upper left, labeled "BENNINGTON STONEWARE POTTERY / E. & L.P. NORTON. / MANUFACTURERS of EVERY DESCRIPTION OF / STONE WARE, / BENNINGTON, VT". Price list is titled "Adopted by Convention at New York, April 20, 1864 / WHOLESALE PRICES OF STONE-WARE," and includes prices for various stoneware products, along with images of cobalt-decorated pieces. Bottom right also includes a small list of "ROCKINGHAM WARE". Base signed "Recd Payment / E & L P Norton / E Greenslet". A well-detailed and finely-illustrated billhead from one of America's most reknowned potteries. Framed and matted. Very nice condition with some light staining and typical fold marks. Number "12" written on right side. Framed: 18 1/2" x 13 1/2".
