Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JULIUS NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1845, cylindrical jug decorated with four flower blossoms extending from a stem. Stone ping below decoration on front. 1 1/2" glazed-over line at base. Some dryness to glaze on reverse. A few minor spout chips and a short horizontal line in spout. Small chip to shoulder.
