One-Gallon Glazed Redware Jug, Galena, IL origin, second half 19th century, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder, applied strap handle, and distinctive wide spout with tooling. Surface covered in a lead glaze over a colorful olive ground with orange spotting. Surface wear around midsection. Some wear and a small chip to spout. Minor wear to base of handle. H 9 7/8".
