Two-Gallon Stoneware Tobacco Jar, Stenciled "Weyman & Bro. / Pittsburgh, PA.," circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with two cobalt bands at the shoulder and base, the base with bold stenciled flanked by flourishes. Blurriness to stenciling. Long sealed spider crack extending from side of jar onto reverse. Staining to surface.
